McAllen counted 142,210 people in the 2020 census. That makes it the second largest city in the Valley after Brownsville and the biggest in Hidalgo County. Size is not what shapes our work there, though. Age is. Census survey data puts the median McAllen home at 1995, older than Mission (2000) or Pharr (2001). No. We work on air conditioning, heating and indoor air quality only. For coolers, freezers and ice machines you will need a refrigeration company.
